Three steps. No spreadsheets, no data entry, no maintenance.
1. Download

2. Upload

We can't see your data. There's nothing to breach.
Most budgeting apps ask for your bank login and sync everything to their servers. Budget Analyzer works the other way around.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Uploading statements, automatic categorization, budgets, and all the analysis you see are free. You don’t even need an account — everything works right in your browser.
Do you connect to my bank account?
No, and that’s the point. There’s no Plaid, no credentials to hand over, no live connection to your bank. You download a statement file from your bank’s website and drop it here — you stay in control of exactly what the app sees.
Is my financial data safe?
Without an account, your statements are parsed entirely on your device and never uploaded anywhere — we can’t see your data, so there’s nothing for anyone to breach. If you create an account, your data is stored encrypted in the cloud so you can access it across devices.
What file types can I upload?
CSV exports from Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, Apple Card, and most other banks (any CSV with date and amount columns works), plus Bank of America PDF statements.
What do I get by creating an account?
A free account saves your budget in the cloud, tracks months over time, lets you set budgets per category, and unlocks the AI assistant — ask questions about your spending in plain English.
How is this different from Mint or YNAB?
Those tools want to be your daily finance hub, connected to every account. Budget Analyzer is for a 5-minute monthly check-in: upload last month’s statements, see where the money went, adjust, done. No connections to maintain, no daily upkeep.
